A computer I had underwent a major update, and now it is re-connecting to Sync, but it had a lot of tabs synced and now that they've been migrated to the updated system I'd like to disconnect the old version from Sync but the system that the data is from doesn't technically exist anymore. If possible I'd like to do this without having to delete and re-create a Sync account.

Tabs from other computers should disappear after some time, but I'm not sure how long this will take.

You can consider to change the password of the Sync account as that will wipe all data stored in the Sync account.
