How do I merge two separate lists of bookmarks on one computer?
I have two separate lists of bookmarks; one is "unsorted" and one is "all". How do I merge them? Using Windows 7.
Chosen solution
If you are talking about the root folders in the Bookmarks Manager (Library) then you can do a simple cut and paste operation to move the bookmarks from the Unsorted folder to the Bookmarks Menu folder.
There are three main Bookmarks folders and bookmarks can only be created in one of those folders and its sub folders.
- the "Bookmarks Toolbar" folder stores the bookmarks that you see on the Bookmarks Toolbar (Firefox > Options or View > Toolbars).
- the "Bookmarks Menu" folder stores bookmarks that show in the Bookmarks menu and are created via "Bookmarks > Bookmark This Page" or via "Bookmark This Link" in the right-click context menu.
- the "Unsorted Bookmarks" folder stores bookmarks that are created by clicking the star at the right end of the location bar.
You can select all items via Ctrl+A or a range via Shift and a left-click. You can select individual items via Ctrl and a left-click.
- bookmarks created via a click on the star in the location bar are stored by default in the Unsorted Bookmarks folder.
- click the blue highlighted star on the navigation toolbar to edit the properties and to move the bookmark to another folder.
- bookmarks created via "Bookmarks > Bookmark This Page" (Ctrl + D) are stored at the bottom of the Bookmarks Menu folder.

Having more than one version of a program may cause issues.
You must remove the older programs. Then get the current full installer.
Security Issue: Update your Adobe Reader Version 2015.016.20039 Note: Other Software is offered in the download.
To open the Bookmarks Manager, press the Alt or F10 key bring up the tool bar, and select Bookmarks. Hot key is <Control>(Mac=<Command>) <Shift> B.
Once the window is open, at the top of the page, press the button labeled Import and Backup. Select Export Bookmarks To HTML, and follow the prompts and save it to a HTML file.
Now go to the other profile and do the above, but use a different filename.
Now you can merge the file by importing the others HTML file.
Repeat the instructions above, BUT select Import Bookmarks From HTML,
Note: This only works when using HTML.
Cannot find 11.0.0 on my computer.
