Today the new Firefox have lost my bookmarks.
I only have bookmarks under Recently Bookmarked, that is not so useful. Show all bookmarks > Other bookmarks are empty. Restore bookmarks (1091 items) do not help.
Can I manually import restored bookmarks (1091 items) to the New Firefox. Then I need to know where that file is stored.

Yes you can, download 52 ESR which will be supported until May 2018 from here: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/all/

And https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/recover-lost-or-missing-bookmarks plus https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-firefox-stores-user-data and https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles

The restored bookmarks are JSONLZ4 files. Firefox can only import HTML files. I found the location to the restored bookmarks files in your links.
Thats bad, I cant import them. To restore them do not works.
After I have reset my Firefox Account password, if that matter, i found my bookmarks deep in the menue: View history bookmark > Bookmarks > Show all bookmarks > Bookmarks menue > Bookmarks. Why so deep in the menue? It is not that practical! Can I switch to the old Firefox?

After some struggle 52 ESR solved the problem.
With 52 ESR i got new problems. Very slow and always asking to be default webbrowser. I think I run the new Firefox any way in parallell with Google Chrome.
