Just stared been working for years. This happen on surewest.net account. error occurred while sending mail. mail sever responded: 5.7.1 < email >: Relay access denied

Chosen solution

If you use your ISPs SMTP server, you also must be connected to the Internet through your ISP. I suppose you're not.

How about I am, I get mail I just can't send
