Microsoft Access sendObject / edit doesn't open in Thunderbird. It just sends automatically.
I send reports out of Microsoft Access as emails with attached pdf files. In my Access VBA module I format the sendObject command to open the email in the email client in Edit mode so I can make changes, such as changing the From account. Until this month it always worked, but tonight it just sends the emails straight out without allowing me to edit them. They all go from my default address in TBird which is the wrong one for this task. I only recently upgraded Microsoft Office to 2016. Not sure it that was before or after last month when everything worked fine. I Googled help on this and fmsinc.com gave this note: "Doesn't always work with email programs if it's not Outlook, Outlook Express, or Exchange". Does anyone know if this is a problem with the latest TBird update version? I'm set to update automatically. I'm on 65.0.2 (64-bit) Thanks to anyone who can help.

There was a problem with the 60.5.2 update that affects sending files from 3rd-party apps. Apply the proper update and see if that fixes things:

Thank you, that fixed it. I tried to download the EN-US version but it said it couldn't run on my device. I tried the EN-UK version. That installed and the problem is now fixed. The emails open on my desktop in edit mode. Thanks a ton man. Dan
Sorry, that was the EN-GB version. United Kingdom, Great Britain, whatever. :)
