My Thunderbird account has contained my Spectrum email addresses for years (Roadrunner and Charter). With my recent interstate move, Spectrum has cancelled my addresses, and I have needed to start using my Gmail account, instead. My Address Book is contained in my Thunderbird Email. I need to export that Thunderbird Address Book to my Gmail account.

Chosen solution

Gmail can import contacts in a csv or vCard (vcf) file. Select an address book, Tools/Export, Save as type: vCard (recommended). Then, open Google Contacts and import the vcf file.

But if you set up your Gmail account in TB, all of your existing address books are available to all accounts, gmail included.
