Thunderbird had a problem & crashed - it accidentally sent an email to someone
I want to find out if this is possible, someone was working on another email when Thunderbird crashed and had absolutely no idea that a completely different email had actually been sent. It shouldn't have been sent, and I want to ensure that this doesn't happen to me, so would this really have happened based on receiving a Mozilla crash reporter - we're sorry - thunderbird had a problem and crashed. As if it were to accidentally send emails - I would need to choose another provider as it looks kinda unprofessional, if a draft email accidentally got sent. I look forward to hearing from anyone....
Chosen solution
Nothing is impossible, but crashing and sending mail does not sound likely to me, unless the crash occurred while sending the mail.
The simple fact is the short cut to send an email is Ctrl+Enter this is usually something the user hits in error and then they go looking for a reason the mail went out, ignoring the fact that they send it using Ctrl+Enter. Instead of using Shift Enter for instance.
