Hello,

I have the latest version of Thunderbird and have 2 email addresses set up. One is an Exchange/O365 account and the other is a gmail account. I have the Exchange account set as the default.

I am trying to email documents by right clicking on a document on the desktop, choosing Send To > Mail Receipient.

This causes Thunderbird to open up but the gmail account is chosen as the account to Send From instead of the Exchange account. Like I said, the Exchange account is set as the default account.

I noticed that this only happens if Thunderbird is closed. If Thunderbird is open prior to sending out documents, then the Exchange address comes up as the Send From address when the new email opens.

Is there any way to make sure that the Exchange address is chosen for the Send From address even if Thunderbird is closed?

Thanks! Ed

I suspect this is a flaw in the Owl or ExQuilla add-on that is required for Exchange access, so I would recommend you contact the add-on developer for advice.
