Someone else had this problem here and they fixed it by going to Settings > 'Privacy and Security' and setting 'HTTPS-Only Mode' (at the very bottom) to 'Enable HTTPS-Only Mode in all windows'

I suspect either a script changed on the site, or the 3 reports I've seen so far involve the same add-on.

If there was a site change, a possible cause of problems would be if Firefox is holding old files in the cache and mashing them up with new ones. Try clearing the web cache:

If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.

Hello, You can use the "Pop up" blocker that can help in blocking pop-ups. Moreover, you can try by going to: Menu > Options > Tab contents and enable Block popup windows.
