Hi, I'm having a problem suddenly where a few of my emails are showing up as new (the folder is bold, showing new messages) but when I click the folder, nothing downloads, the bold "new message" number disappears.

However, as I click away from the folder, the new message marker comes back in a short while.

Checking the mail in office online, I do have a message there that I don't have locally, but it's not downloading.

How does one fix this and avoid this for good?

Incidentally - and a potential fix: Is there any way to direct thunderbird to download all new messages immediately as they arrive? I don't want to click and wait - I want all messages to be available locally.

Thanks

p.s. it's only happening to 4 messages from yesterday - everything else (eg new messages) is downloading again, fine.
