Lost all my Google account passwords from stored passwords on firefox
I store passwords on firefox account and use sync to share passwords across devices. I did not delete any passwords on any device. recently, I saw that only google account passwords are missing and rest passwords are intact in saved passwords. my google passwords have been stored since a long time. all my old and recent stored passwords are shown in firefox but only my google account passwords are gone on all the devices. I tried login-backup.json but there is no change in passwords shown. need help.

Did you use the "Forget About this site" option. I did recently and forgot about the details in the 2nd screenshot. ;-))

What OS?
Try downloading a separate copy of Firefox and run it from the folder and sign into you Firefox account to see if the passwords are there.

I am using ubuntu, windows 10 and firefox mobile (android). I tried running firefox by downloading and installing firefox on my usb drive but the problem persists. all my passwords are present but all google account passwords (gmail) are gone on all devices as sync is on all devices.
Firefox 80+ has a logins-backup.json file in the profile folder that can be used in case of issues with logins.json or to undo an accidental delete of a login, so you can check if you can find this file in the profile folder or in a backup and replace the current logins.json. Make sure to keep a backup copy of all involved files (logins.json and key4.db and logins-backup.json)
You can use the button on the "Help -> More Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.
Help -> More Troubleshooting Information -> Profile Folder/Directory: Windows: Open Folder; Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-firefox-stores-user-data
If you use a Primary Password then you can prevent losing passwords by canceling the PP prompt. You need to logout beforehand by canceling a PP prompt, e.g. by clicking the eye icon in Lockwise (about:logins).
already tried login-backup.json but it is not useful because logins.json and login-backup.json are same in my case, so same passwords are shown even on replacing logins.json with login-backup.json file as both files are of same size and same passwords are present in both the files. it is also strange that only google accounts passwords were deleted automatically (i had 10-12 google account logins saved) and rest passwords are intact (i did not delete even a single login).

Are you sure it was in the Password Manager? Check the Form Filler data.
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/automatically-fill-address-and-credit-cards https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/control-whether-firefox-automatically-fills-forms
yes i am sure it was in forms data, i have been using firefox password manager for years and never typed the passwords for my google accounts, i just selected google account username and password from drop down, also passwords were present in stored passwords section if i wanted to see any password. now all of them are gone from stored passwords.

Look on your desktop. Do you see a folder called; Old Firefox? Look inside. Look for the folder with the latest creation date.

Type about:profiles<enter> in the address bar.
How many profiles are listed?
How many should be there?
Also, open the profile folder in your file explorer.

Did you try to sort the logins by username in Lockwise in case the origin got changed ?

I checked all logins one by one, by searching also, but there is no google login saved.

Yes I did that once. Thank you that was the problem. From now onwards will pay attention to not do that as it also removed all my saved logins.
In the event that the passwords information is lost, you should record all information in a separate text file somewhere else on your hard drive, or written down. You can easily copy and paste if you need to do so. If you are concerned about someone else looking at that file, you can compress it using a password.

Note that if you use a Primary Password then you can cancel the PP prompt to prevent losing the password when you use "Forget About This Site" in case you haven't entered the PP yet during this session to unlock the logins. You can possibly cancel a PP prompt like you get if you click the eye icon in Lockwise to reveal a password to log out and relock the logins.
