I have installed Thunderbird in a new computer. Default is Inbox list in the upper half of the screen and the marked email displays in the lower part of the screen. But as I now have a wide screen, I would like to have the list to the left and the displayed email to the right. How do I manage that?

View>layout>vertical view. Then press F8.
