FF 3.6.12 locks up when you access Gmail, didn't do it on earlier versions!

I can open Gmail but when I click 'reply' or 'forward' it locks up and a message 'loading'.

All previous versions on FF didn't have this problem

I think I've solved it with this:-

open - about:config

toggled dom storage to true

restart FF
