video(s) on wb page show up as a blck rectangle
Whenever (85% of the time) a video is supposed to show on the web page, all I get is a blank rectangle. I have to copy the URL and go to the IE browser where the video plays as intended.

Try to disable the hardware acceleration in the Flash Player.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

So far it appears to work. thank you for your suggestions. Now I am afraid to install "add on(s)".
