The top 1 1/2" of every web page is not accessable with the mouse. ex. top 5 bookmarks not accessable with mouse and can't close bookmark sidebar when open. How do I correct issue?

more options

Every web page and the top of the bookmark sidebar when open does not respond to the mouse. Everything above the browser wind seems to work fine, and everything below the top 1 1/2 inches at top of page seems fine. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox 7.0.1 without any change. The initial update to 7.0.1 did not seem to have any issues, and I don't know exactly when this changed.
