Firefox 9.0.1 tabs not in titlebar
My tabs are below the menu bar. I have seen on another machine I have that the tabs are in the titlebar, which I prefer.
I have checked config:about, and the browser.tabs fields are all set to default. I have tried minimizing and maximizing the window. I've searched through the options, but cannot find anything related to tab placement, other than "tabs on top" (which I have set). I tried "customization" thinking I might be able to drag the tabs to the title bar, but no luck.
I do notice that the title bar has an earth firefox symbol, not an orange tab, and the title bar is active, showing the current page I'm at.
Chosen solution
You can check the value of the browser.tabs.drawInTitlebar pref on the about:config page.
Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

You can only get the tabs in the title bar if the Firefox window is maximized.
I did try to simply maximize the window, but tabs still not in title bar. Must anything else be done?

OK, I found the problem. The "Menu Bar" must be turned off...
Maybe in the future Firefox can put the tabs in the title bar with menu showing and when not maximized.
