Using Hotmail skydrive files causes message reformat.
Have been using LiveHotmail for some years. Recent updates to Firefox seem to have brought in a problem. Type a message in Hotmail, then add attachments using Skydrive, the message text reformats to one word per line. Retyping, every press of the space bar starts a new line. Removing the Skydrive file restores the original text format. Have tried IE and found no problem.

In order to be able to find the correct solution to your problem, I require some more non-personal information from you. Please do the following:
- Click the Firefox button at the top left, then click the Help menu and select Troubleshooting information from the submenu. If you don't have a Firefox button, click the Help menu at the top and select Troubleshooting information from the menu.
Now, a new tab containing your troubleshooting information should open.
- At the top of the page, you should see a button that says "Copy all to clipboard. Click it.
- Now, go back to your forum post and click inside the reply box. Press Ctrl+V to paste all the information you copied into the forum post.
Also, it would help to get a screenshot of the problem! Thanks in advance for your help!
Here's a screenshot of my problem with Live Hotmail. I typed the single line of text, then added a couple of picture files. Finally clicked on "Save files on Skydrive", and the line of text reformatted as seen.
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
- Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
- Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Thanks for the suggestions. I don't store history etc, and have FF set to clear on exit. Have now cleared anyway to make sure. Running in safe mode, the problem persists.
Try to reset the prefs in case one of those are causing it.
You can try to reset Firefox and create a new profile.

My solution is to abandon Firefox and use IE!
Don't know if it's my system or what, but Firefox just runs a lot faster than IE...that is, until I add in the time I spend trying to fix their bugs.
