flashing context menu and bookmarks

Firefox Desktop Vs. 16.0.1, Windows 7 Pro 64 bit v 6.1 The context menus (right click) and bookmarks are flashing, and do not persist. It makes it difficult to click on them. The menu is there, because when I click on the empty spot where the option should be, I go to the right place. But, with the menu disappearing, it makes it difficult to click on the right spot.

I am reverting to using version 3.6.28 until the problem is resolved.

I also have the problem with fill-in boxes - the options flash.

I have uninstalled, and reinstalled version 16.0.1, and it still has the same problem.

Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
