Whenever firefox is started, it will always open to all of the tabs that were open in the previous session. No matter what I do, firefox will always, ALWAYS do this and does not seem to be able to stop.

I have: -Gone through the options and set firefox to open to the home page/blank page. -Re-installed firefox -deleted the session store files on my computer -Gone through about:config and set the values for browser.sessionstore.max_tabs_undo, browser.sessionstore.max_windows_undo, browser.sessionstore.max_resumed_crashes, and browser.sessionstore.resume_from_crash to 0 and false respectively

None of these options have worked and firefox is still loading up all previously closed tabs regardless of the changes made.

I have a windows 7, the latest firefox, avast! Antivirus, blue coat k9 web protection, and the windows firewall.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

thank you very much, it turns out that choosing to reset firefox on the troubleshooting page did the trick.

Thankyou so much for your time. :)
