The compose button will not work in gmail, it works fine in safari. I tried about:config and dom.storage was already at true instead of false. Help?
I have tried about:config and seeing if the dom.storage could be changed from false to true. I did some research and this is what others suggested to do. In my advanced setting it was already set to to true. I have no idea what to try next help!!

Please update to Firefox 20, Firefox 12 is quite out of date and may not work properly with the modern web (like Gmail). Update Firefox to the latest release
hello, your system details show that you're on an old version - please update to firefox 20 & see if this already addresses the issue. if not, i'd also go through the steps covered in Websites look wrong or appear differently than they should ...
I downloaded firefox 20 but how do I actually udate it? It just shows up on my desktop and gives an option to eject it.
See:

- Trash the current Firefox application (e.g. open the Applications folder in the Finder and drag the Firefox application to the Trash) to do a clean (re-)install
- Install the new version that you have downloaded

Your profile data is stored elsewhere in the Firefox profile folder, so you won't lose your bookmarks and other personal data if you uninstall and (re)install Firefox.
Firefox 20 is installed but it did not fix the problem.
