Trouble pining shortcut to task bar

I'm trying to drag a shortcut to my yahoo email sign in site to the task bar. When I do, a window pops up telling me that Yahoo is pinned but, nothing shows on my task bar. The task bar is not locked. What do I need to do? Thanks. Jim
