Computer locked up installing Windows up date. Technician wiped hard drive and then reinstalled Windows 7. I have Idrive online backup and was able to reinstall most everything except the Thunderbird address books. Is there any way to recover the address books?

You'd need to offer something to recover from to work with. Why isn't your Thunderbird profile in your backup?

Wrt Thunderbird, what exactly is in your backup?

What you'd need is the Thunderbird profile. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Thunderbird
