The OP is getting an error message that the email password is not correct. I am not sure why you give him instructions for the Master password.

glen, if you have removed and replaced your saved passwords in Thunderbird and have confirmed that you know what your email password is by successfully logging into your account at the providers web mail site, I would start looking at your server settings. Incorrect server settings will cause the password error also. Get a current list of server settings from your provider and compare those with what you have in Thunderbird.
