In my newest desktop version of Thunderbird the arrow that marked my emails as ' already replied to' is gone. How can I get it back?

In the newest version of Thunderbird my inbox doesn't show anymore the arrow that indicated I have replied to an email, which is quite annoying. The arrow to indicate I have forwarded a message is still there but the other one is gone. I like to have it back.

I have heard of outdated add on causing this problem. Restart with add ons disabled and see if the problem clears. You can do that from the Help menu.

Thanks for your suggestion. I tried it but it sadly it didn't make any difference.

You did run Thunderbird in its safe mode (as opposed to Windows or even Firefox)?

I too would suspect a theme. And Thunderbird's Safe Mode disables all such add-ons.

Yes I did run Thunderbird in its safe mode but it didn't display the arrows. I also replied to see if the arrow would appear but it didn't.
