Facebook videos seem to cause Firefox to lose connection, other browsers work fine.
While on facebook, if I watch one or 4(Random number) videos using facebooks own player, not youtube, or scroll down my frontpage wich usually have a large number of videos, firefox connection to the net seem to be lost. When this happends, whatever webpage I try to access in Firefox just gets a "Loading" status in the tabs bar.
Only fix so far is to close and relaunch Firefox.
When doing that, I also find that XMark Sync has lost connection and can't sync up.
While this happends, I have tried IE, Chrome and several chat softwares, like Skype, and these function as supposed to. So the issue is somewhere in Firefox.
The reason I point towards Facebook videos(html5?) doing something to Firefox, is that so far this has only happened while on Facebook, and while watching, stopping, switching to HD, skipping forward/back or scrolling past videos on the frontpage(These autostart when they are "front").
This happends at random, but alot, so much I have pretty much stopped scrolling the front page or looked at videos posted on facebook.
I am stumped.

go to Help Menu -> select "Restart with Add-ons Disabled"
Firefox will close then it will open up with just basic Firefox. You can enable the Add-ons later. Check and tell if its working.
@kushagra thank you for bringing this to attention! Hi ralpgalland,
What were the results of your troubleshooting suggested above? Did Facebook videos begin to slow down the browser?
If both of these troubleshooting steps show no difference, see if you have disabled flash and reload Firefox to force the HTML5 player. Else please scan for malware: Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware
Hi guys.
It is the facebook html5 videos that seemed to cause this. Videos using a flash type players or youtube player were not affected. I've tried watching videos around the web using a plethora of players and pausing, speeding up, slowing down, stoppin, starting etc. And it only happends with the facebook html5 one.
As I said, I am stumped.
Restart with addons disabled did nothing. Within 5 minutes of browsing Facebook and posts with facebooks videoplayer, Firefox "hung" on connection to the net.
Tho, in desperation, I refreshed Firefox, starting from scratch. Reinstalled everything, bookmarks/flash/java/addons/mods etc. Basicly, I should now have the exact same setup as before the refresh, with the same addons and mods.
On day 2 since that, and not had a hang yet.
But I'm not baking a cake in celebration yet. I haven't had time to surf "funneh" videos like I normally do.
Not to worry, but I do like cake. Maybe this is later, but I will also test with the same profile. Safe Mode will eliminate if its an add on later if this happens again and it will disable hardware acceleration.
And if this generally gets to slow to load there is a new feature called e10s that is coming and is currently in cycle to block tracking on sites like this one. (adds ;-)) I think its in FirefoxDeveloper edition atm.
