Can I delete an application

Under options and applications, I have a telephone application for RingCentral and also for Skype. It appears that all of my webpages that have a phone number are highlighted in the only option is to use the Skype application. Is it possible to delete the Skype application and make the RingCentral application the default? I don't use Skype, but on occasion and only use video and not the telephone service. I use RingCentral for everything.

Disable the Skype Click to Call extension in the Firefox Add-ons Manager or uninstall the Skype application via the Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs in Windows.
