Following an automatic Microsoft update to Windows 7 Ultimate, Thunderbird no longer downloads or allows me to send email. When trying to send a message I get the message "Sending of the message failed. The message could not be sent because the connection to Outgoing server (SMTP) outbound.att.net timed out. Try again." Fortunately, I can access my email by going directly to the email service provider website. Any help will be appreciated.
