I am able to type all of the Spanish accent marks except the ALT+164 which provide the enye. When I type it I am returned to the previous screen. Some times I can see it in the search box before it changes screens. I am able to type everything else á é í ó ú etc. I tried turning off Clear Type, I tried reloading Firefox 59.0.1 rebooting. Nothing worked. I can cut and paste and it works fine but this is not an option for us. Any ideas.

Hi, there appears to be an issue that only affects users who have turned off Cleartype Font rendering within their Windows Settings. So a workaround for the moment would either be to turn Cleartype back on or disabling hardware acceleration in Firefox: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/performance-settings

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

Try to enable Num Lock if it is disabled currently.

Turning off and on Cleartype did not solve the problem. Numlock is on and I am using the keypad. The problem seems to be the Alt+4 that returns me to my previous screen. I am typing Alt+164 but as soon as I enter the 4 it returns me to the previous screen. Again, Alt+16anythingelse works fine.

With Num Lock on the number keys on the keypad should behave as number keys and not as cursor keys in case you press them or use them as part of an Alt key combination.
