How to fix the automatic date showing in the New Event window?

When I open a new event the date shown is usually always a couple days or so behind the current date. I can change that date to the date I want the Event but I think it should show the current date ?? Is it possible to change this so it always shows the current date in the New Event window?

I don't see that with TB 60.5/Lightning 6.2.5 on W10. If you open Tools/Options/Calendar/General, what is in the box for Date Text Format? Mine shows Long: January 30, 2019, the same date as when I create a new event (which shows the short form). Check your Date and time settings in Windows Settings.

I checked Windows Settings and the date is correct, Jan 30 2019.

I was using Thunderbird 60.4.0 but.....it just updated a few minutes ago. I'm not familiar with Lightning, so I don't know if I have that or not.

Hmm, I opened a New Event just now and the current is showing, which is what I would expect. I'll watch it for a few more days and get back to you and let you know.

If you have a calendar with events and tasks, you already have Lightning installed (check Tools/Add-ons/Extensions).

You're right, I do. Thank you.

Checked the date on New Events just now and it shows 1/31. So far so good.
