Sending & Receiving emails without issue... However, when forwarding a message it won't go through in Thunderbird. A dialogue box pops up "The message couldn't be sent because the connection to Outgoing server (SMTP) timed out. Try again" or "An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: See http://pobx.com/~djb/docs/smtplf.html.. Please check the message and try again." Info: Laptop w/ Window 10 Home 64-bit V 17763.253, TB is Version 60.5.0; POP account w/ Port 587

Thanks in advance for helping.

Timeouts are often caused by antivirus programs scanning outgoing mail, but first verify you have the correct settings. It appears your domain is hosted by Network Solutions, so they recommend smtp.zebraz.com for the outgoing server on port 2525 or 587, Connection security = none, authentication = password, transmitted insecurely, and User name = email address.

Thanks - Yes, I do have the correct email setting - I've changed nothing & have been using Avast Free for sometime, now... I can send and receive without issue - It's the messages which I choose to forward which are now having issues. I also have my yahoo account in TB & it seems to be working w/out issue as well.

Thanks - I did go into Avast Free & remove the 'scan outgoing emails'... as soon as I unchecked the box for scanning - Emails are back to being to be forwarded.
