I am sorry to hear that you are having this issue. Mozilla Support is mostly made up of volunteer contributors and we do our best to keep documentation up to date.

It is currently not possible to import bookmarks from Chrome into Firefox for Android on more recent Android due to limitations imposed by Google.

The best way to do this at present is to

- Sign into your Google account on a desktop or laptop computer, - Install a desktop copy of Firefox, - Import your bookmarks - Set up a Firefox Account on the desktops - Sign into the same account on Firefox for Android to import your bookmarks
