Why did firefox stop working with my vpn?

I have a Panda Dome VPN and the other day Firefox worked fine with it. Last night Firefox stopped working with it. What's up?

Hi marcia5, what happens now? For example:

  • VPN off: Firefox works normally
  • VPN on: Firefox cannot find servers, websites time out, pages are incomplete, etc.

If Firefox cannot find servers, perhaps check whether this is due to Firefox using DNS over HTTPS, which is a way to look up server addresses bypassing your system's normal DNS servers. This article describes where to find that setting and turn it off if it's currently on:

Firefox DNS-over-HTTPS (section titled "Manually Enabling and disabling DNS-over-HTTPS")

Any progress so far?
