Youtube videos won't load on Firefox - Works on every other browser

All of a sudden, my firefox started giving me a ton of problems. Youtube videos get stuck on a black loading screen indefinitely, but they end up working if I manually refresh. Youtube works flawlessly on other browsers.

Also, log in features on most websites have stopped working. On Amazon for example: I put my email and password, click log in, and then nothing happens. It doesn't load or anything. Again, it works fine on every other browser.

I've turned off performance settings and hardware accelartion settings in the firefox settings, but still the same issues persist. I'm running Windows 10 with a relatively powerful desktop so I don't think it's a performance issue. I've also reinstalled Firefox several times, removed add-ons, etc.

I'm on my last leg here, I'd rather not switch to another browser

Make sure you are not blocking content.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache.

Sorry Fred, that didn't help. Youtube videos still load about 80% of the way (the thin red loading line right above the youtube search bar) and then it gets stuck there as usual.

And I still can't log in to most websites like Amazon, gmail, etc. I have no anti-virus programs on this computer, and I've turned off Windows Defender and all my firewalls just to be sure.

This issue came out of nowhere, I haven't installed or done anything to this computer in the last few months. I'm guessing an automatic Firefox update is the issue?

Some have reported issues with Version 87.0, first offered to Release channel users on March 23, 2021

Yes the problem is still there. And now firefox keeps failing to connect to Captcha servers, so I can't complete the Captcha verification to log into most websites.

Seems like the browser is literally disintegrating each time I use it. Is there a way to revert back to a normal working version instead of v87.0?

Note: Some versions of Quantum change how the data files are set up, so they may not be backward compatible.
