Access denied to Tesco

On occasion when I try to access my Tesco account (UK) I am denied this access with this message: Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://www.tesco.com/account/login/en-GB?" on this server.

Reference #18.3e330760.1629211681.19c464c4

I can fix the problem, at least temporarily, by deleting my browsing history and cookies, but this means having a fairly tedious time logging into the other sites I want to use - extra login codes sent to my phone, and so on.

The problem seems to be only with tesco.com and it also comes and goes - sometimes I can log in then, a few minutes later, I can't.

If I give in and use Edge, there is no problem. I would rather stick with Firefox, however.

Any remedy for this situation would be gratefully received.

I also get access denied. Looks like a website issue.

Try this link: https://www.tesco.com/

You can remove all data stored in Firefox for a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History -> Show All History" or "View -> Sidebar -> History").

Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox for this domain like history and cookies and passwords and exceptions and cache, so be cautious. If you have a password or other data for that domain that you do not want to lose then make sure to backup this data or make a note.

You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of involved files.

If you revisit a 'forgotten' website then data for that website will be saved once again.

Thank you for your replies. I'll give it a go next time the problem occurrs. Yesterday I looged in successfully once and was denied access once: intermittent problems can be very tedious.

Cheers!
