I'm using latest update (according to Firefox setting page) Firefox for Windows desktop. Searching extensions from the settings page, OR, by clicking on link to https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/ send me to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/. But all extensions have the warning, "You'll need Firefox to use this extension" with no download button, only a button to send me to the Firefox download page. What's going on?

You posted with an Edge user agent.

  • Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/111.0.0.0 Safari/537.36 Edg/111.0.100.0

Did you use another browser to post your question ?

No, I'm in Firefox. I supposed I may have changed something in about:config to access a website that didn;t like Firefox, in the past(?), but I forget how I may have done that... I'm not using Incognito, not do I have an extension installed that I think would be the cause. I'll try the reset user agent link.

Yep. That was it, I had override enabled. Derp. Thx

You're welcome. The Edge user agent makes the Add-ons website think that you are using Firefox.
