drop downs on tool bar don't work....drop down with nothing there

most of the time when been on more than 10 mins, when i click on any drop downs , they drop but with nothing on them....on my old computer xp had this,this is now happened and now on me new one which is running windrows 7...some thing x in corner don't work...if i start again it all happens again after a while very annoying

Do you have that problem when running in the Firefox SafeMode? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode Don't select anything right now, just use "Continue in SafeMode."
