See if the value of this pref was changed to Bing. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Keyword.url

I have the same problem, but the keyword.URL value pointed to google, and I haven't found any malware or spyware. So I downloaded the Redirector plug-in and wrote this rule for it:

Example pattern: http://www.bing.com/search?q="TEST"&form=MSSRPD (make sure that you get a similar pattern when bing performs its search)

Include pattern: http://www.bing.com/search?q=*&form=MSSRPD (the * is the search string)

redirect to: http://www.google.com/search?ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&sourceid=navclient&gfns=1&q=$1 ($1 is the search string extracted from the include pattern)

pattern type: wildcard

It'll do for now. But I'm mighty curious as to what caused this.
