Is there an easy way to get this extension's functionality in recent versions of firefox? https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/tab-history/

I want pages opened in new tabs to inherit their patent's history. I found the "tab history" extension ( https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/tab-history/ ), but it's for older versions of firefox only. Is there a config option in newer versions which activates such behavior? Or an extension that is compatible with newer versions? Any tips would be appreciated.
