How do I lock the desktop screen size.It changes with every page

The opening page fills about half the screen.I enlarge it with CTRL + and with the next page it goes back to the opening size.

There are some add-ons that can be used to change the zoom level on all sites, for example NoSquint and Default FullZoom Level.
