the tab button is not operating, it is visually there, just doesn't work. tried rebooting and help but cannot solve the problem. also tried control+T and nothing works, reset to default and still doesn't work.

Tab button is not operating. Tried rebooting, resetting options to default, tried with mouse and with control+T and nothing seems to activate it. It was working properly until an hour ago. Now the + (tab) button is there but it is idle. How do I fix this issue?

This issue can be caused by the Ask.com toolbar (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions)

Your system details show that toolbar in the user agent as AskTbFWV5/3.12.2.16749
