How the hell do I choose and install plugins now in FF4? It was easy in FF3, but now it seems so clunky. What happened?
What ever happened to just going to the add-ons page on the Firefox website from Firefox and then choosing the plugin section? Am I stupid...or is it now really, really clunky to install new plugins?? One would think that in the plugin page in the FF4 browser you have a way to add more plugins...but I can't find it.

Does
- Add-ons
- Plugins
- Slim Add-on Manager (extension for Firefox)
- Add-ons Manager Dialog for Firefox 4 (extension for Firefox)
look like what you want?
Yeah...the first two are what I'm used to. I admit, I too can get to those pages but I was just ranting about how you really can't readily get to those pages without having to memorize or bookmark the url. It was so convenient in prior iterations of FF, but with the new one it seems like you're just left out if you don't know what you're looking for. I'm just surprised it was taken out, because I don't see the the disadvantage of leaving it in.
Thanks, though. I'm still think I'm missing something.
BTW...this isn't a "God forbid I'd have to memorize a stupid web address" issue, it's more like a rant about how it doesn't make sense to make the average Joe have to dig to get the FF plugins, whereas before all you had to do was click on a link that said "get more addons" and it took you to the page where there was a plugins link.
Just checked, and you still can't click your way to the plugins page. Why is that?
