links only work 2 inches below top of page as well as cursor

cursor only works only below a certain level about 1-2 inches from top of page cursor icon will not change from arrow to hand unless 1-2 inches from top of any page as well as text boxes! did however upgrade my aol when this happened! wonder if this conflicted! How can I get firefox to work again?tried reinstalling firefox no success!

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
