I go to the rss page on the presstv website and select the first option. I then click on subscribe to this page in Firefox bookmarks and it does not add to the rss feeds. I am using Firefox 10 in Linux Mint 11.

  • Have you used rss before and succeeded ?
  • what is the site URL
  • how far do you get before it fails
  • do other sites rss work ok ? (does it work on this site ok?)

Thank you for your response. I have several rss news feeds working in live book marks. I have Al Jazeera, McClatchy, Merco Press, Inter Press Service, Asia Times and others.

Thank you for your response. I get the idea, from your reply, that the problem is on their end. I queried Press TV about the problem and have received no response. I guess that I will just have to live without the feed. Oh well.

You may be able to find another way of receiving and viewing the info. Cor-el identified the rss link as http://edition.presstv.ir/rss/ have you tried opening that?

Hi,

Yes, that is the link that doesn't work in live bookmarks. It doesn't work with Epiphany either. Press TV support does not respond about the problem either. Thank you anyway.

In Firefox9 on Ubuntu I do at least get a listing of the subjects from that page, complete with suggestions to use for instance yahoo and google feeds, with appropriate links.

I also note I am able to paste the location into my bookmarks library, that gives me the ten top stories as links.

Thank you John. I can just go to the website and watch the news broadcast. I can, also, do what you indicated. If those are my choices, I prefer watching the video stream. I consider the matter closed, unless I get a fix from Press TV, and thank those who tried to help.
