How do I turn off the Default Browser option without reinstall
I'm using Firefox 3.6.6 as my default browser on XP V5.1 2600 Sp2 but want to occasionally use IE 7. I cannot use IE at the same time since my entered IE web address (HTTP) becomes a tab entry displayed in Firefox, apparently due to my default option choice. How do I turn off the default option choice in Firefox? I've been re-installing. uad

You should be able to use IE independently of Firefox and at the same time, without needing to fiddle with the default browser setting in the WinXP control panel.
Are you using the IE Tab 2 add-on?

You can leave an IE window open and switch to that window if you need to open an external link in a browser that is not the default browser and paste or drag the URL in the address (location) bar instead.
