When trying to download any add on to thunderbird I recieve a 404 not found error screen

Every time I try to download any add on to the thunderbird email client a new tab opens up and begins loading, once it finishes loading a white screen with 404 not found is displayed. I have tried it over and over and can't seem to figure out why I am having this problem. Can anyone please help. I am operating on a mac

What is the URL you're trying to download from?
