Adobe Flash Player Help

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} While you are in safe mode;

Type about:preferences<Enter> in the address bar

Select Advanced > General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.

Poke around safe web sites. Are there any problems?

Then restart.

I did that, it worked an hour or two then it crashed again. That didn't solve the problem. If this doesn't get fixed I may start using Chrome more.

Youtube videos don't buffer properly and will hang when trying to buffer at certain points, requiring a page refresh.

All BBC iPlayer videos (and BBC website videos) lag/hang for a second when pressing Play/Pause or selecting a volume level. Does not happen in Chrome. Changing hardware accel in Flash does nothing.

Firefox 32.0.3 - 15.0.0.152

it worked an hour or two then it crashed again

But it is better, on we go.
