I had to uninstall firefox because it disabled my wireless printer. Why wasn't it capable with my printer?

My wireless HP printer would not work with firefox, as firefox stated it wasn't capatible with your program. It not only disabled it it literally took it right out of my system. I had to uninstall firefox and re-install my printer. Printer works fine now but I'm forced to use internet explorer/chrome and these engines are giving me nothing but pop ups which is driving me crazy. I want to re-install firefox but I need my printer.

Please advise if you can. My printer is a: HP PhotoSmart Prem C310 Series

A screenshot of that error message about your printer might have been helpful. With Firefox uninstalled now we can't offer any troubleshooting suggestions.
