Firefox crash
Hi,
I must use IE to even ask this question because Firefox crashes all the time. When I visit this site or gogle maps or YouTube or slack etc.
Following action have been taken: - disabling hardware acceleration in firefox and in Adobe flash player - disabling secure mode in Shockware Flash - cleared all history - disabled all plugins (firefox started in safemode) - uninstalled Firefox and deleted all folders and then reinstalled Firefox to the latest version - latest version of flash player and java are installed - installed the latest video driver
- changed layers.d3d11.disable-warp pref to true
- installed latest displaylink
nothing seems to solve my problem it also crashed when trying to ask this question, so i had to do it with internet explorer!
I use windows 8.1 pro 64bit on a intel i5 with 16GB RAM

Please disable Hardware Acceleration completely, Turning off hardware acceleration
Some of your crash reports weren’t sent to the Mozilla Servers.
In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP in front of the numbers/letters, click it and select Submit.
Using your mouse, mark the most resent 7 - 10 crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box below and paste them in.

As I mentioned before I already did everything that you say: 1. disable Hardware Acceleration completely 2. disable secure mode in Shockware Flash, 3. disable Hardware Acceleration in flash player/plugin (right click on movie->settings->diseble acceleration), 4. updated nvidia drivers from nvidia.com,
I also saw that skype and dropbox is crashing after this programs start and I don't know if it is connected with firefox issue. I already scaned system by AVG (full version), by adwcleaner_4.208 and Adware-Removal-Tool-v3.9.1 and everything looks fine.
Also system was scaned by System File Check and that was a result: Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log %WinDir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log.

In the log, I see a lot of "Ignoring duplicate ownership for directory"
I don't know it well enough to do the tech.
