Firefox (Developer Edition) is crashing whenever I try to import bookmarks from a HTML file

Browser - Firefox (Dev Edition) 43.0a2 Problem - Importing bookmarks from a HTML file Details - Trying to import bookmarks from a HTML file (size - 19.0 MB). After selecting the file the browser freezes and displays a message that the script is unresponsive displaying options - Continue, Debug script, Stop script. Even after trying all the options the browser is not able to import the bookmarks.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?


Open the HTML file in an editor. Look around. Does it look okay?

19 megabytes sounds a bit large. You might need to "Continue" the script several times to complete the job.
