I understand that you can change the text size of a desktop page in Firefox for Android, but I find that the text for mobile sites, i.e., a Google search results page, is quite small. Is there a way to change the default text size of MOBILE web pages, even if it means going through about:config?

I recommend having a look at the Firefox for Android Add-ons site. You may find an add-on there which may help.
